Raymay Swingcut scissors distinct themselves from other conventional scissors in a way that it is not “centralised”. Unlike tradition scissors, the pivot pin point is not located at the centre of the two blades but at one side of the them. This give the scissors a slightly strange outlook which is asymmetry. However, the advantage of such design means the effective cutting edge of the blade has been lengthened a bit, which in turn gives you a little bit more cutting distance. Also, the it gives you an angle of the handles which enables the upper handle to separate the cutting surface. Therefore, you will see more clearly the blade and cutting track you are following. There are 3 different types of blades of these scissors, i.e. standard stainless-steel blades, fluorine coating blades making it more resistant to stick materials such as tapes or labels, titanium coating making it three times more durable of than uncoated stainless-steel blades.
