Description
Pilot CON-40 or CON-70N Fountain Pen Converter
Refill your compatible Pilot fountain pen with bottled ink using a reusable converter, available in CON-40 or higher-capacity CON-70N versions.
Choose Your Converter – The Pilot CON-40 and CON-70N provide two different filling options. The CON-40 uses a twist-operated mechanism and holds approximately 0.4ml of ink, while the CON-70N uses a push-button mechanism and holds approximately 1.1ml.
Pilot CON-40 – Twist Filling – The CON-40 is a compact rotary converter designed for compatible Pilot cartridge/converter fountain pens. Simply attach it to the pen, immerse the nib in bottled ink and turn the converter mechanism to draw ink into the reservoir.
Its smaller capacity makes it a practical choice for everyday writing and for users who enjoy changing ink colours regularly.
Pilot CON-70N – Push-Button Filling – The CON-70N features a convenient push-button filling mechanism and approximately 1.1ml ink capacity, giving it substantially more capacity than the CON-40. To fill, place the nib in the ink and press the button several times to draw ink into the converter.
Compatible Pilot Fountain Pens – Both converters are designed for compatible Pilot cartridge/converter fountain pens, although compatibility varies between individual models. Some Pilot pens may only accept one converter because of their internal dimensions.
Please check your specific Pilot fountain pen model before purchasing.
Reusable Bottled Ink Filling
Using a converter allows you to enjoy Pilot bottled inks and other suitable fountain pen inks without relying solely on cartridges. It is also a flexible option for writers who like experimenting with different colours.
